Transfer Rumours Summer 2020

It has been reported on ITTV that the EFL have blocked our efforts to buy Gilbey and Washington.

Not confirmed yet - I'm sure one of us will post a link when we can copnfirm.
 
Also reported on CL that the transfer embargo is now a hard one - no more incoming. As usual with the EFL no details as to why.

As a prelude to expulsion from the leagues, would be my guess.

Might not be tomorrow either.
At least one of these players has other offers and might not wait, but if he stays fit would be a very very good player for you.
Not sure how you will get round his wages.mind as he's been on a fair wack for 12 seasons!!!

Update from my source.

Signings were ready to go, but whoever is advising TS on this forgot to tell him about the rules in League 1 where you can only spend 60% of turnover on wages.
To get all these deals over the line, you will need to increase your turnover by 400% from last season.

The "marquee" signing was going to be offered a player/coach role to get around wages issue, but EFL will not accept this as he has no coaching license yet!!!

TS not a happy chap apparently and did not know the financial rules changed when you get relegated from Champ to League 1.
Don't know who has been advising him, but he needs to buck his ideas up!!!
