This was an argument frequently thrown at us....if you don't want to sell something, why should you? And if you want top dollar, so what?

    Shane Longs twin!
In fact I'll go further, he'll score only two more goals than Shane will next season.(may well be 2)
Big pace, no finish, 18M is a sign of the times.

Ours has far far more content than Hulls, In terms of the lenght and depth of posts. There's is very 'chatty'. I'm sure we have a lot of people reading, rather than commenting on here.

Not sure I take your first point, I meant it was the busiest board in terms of regular posters, hardly a surprise though as it's their main forum (like SW is ours).

Your second point is true of all boards/forums I suspect.

Wolves to smash their own transfer record with £18m capture of Middlesbrough wing Adama Traore
    ____________________

Also, it does not feel like the biggest smash when they paid 13M for someone when rolling around in the Championship.
Now I'm starting to sound jealous.....but I'm not, honestly! I just love the way we did it, coming through at the first attempt then beating the Delap fee with J-rods 8.5m. We were so small time, it felt great!

I had dreams of Traore and Boufal playing on either wing for us this season. It would have been...dribbly.

Add Long to that, and we'd be the Red Marshmallows! <laugh>
Bloody quick down the tunnel at the end though!

There is a potentially brilliant player somewhere in Traore, 18m could be a steal if he can fulfill his potential. See similar to Mane, probably with a higher potential ceiling

Don't think he's got a higher ceiling than Mane. Seems all pace and no end product really from what I've seen.

I think Mane is going to get better and better, can't see Traore being half as good tbh.

I definitely agree that there's potential in Traore. But equally I agree that right now he's all pace, and nothing else.

So firstly, I'm relaxed about someone else taking that punt on him. And secondly, taking a(nother) gamble of a forward player is hardly what we need right now. Whether it means paying a little bit more, or buying a safer player with a lower potential ceiling, I'd rather that than another gamble. If we had a couple of bankers in our squad, I'd be fine with taking a bit of a punt. But we don't.

I’d move him about 10 yards forward. He has good feet and is a big unit, personally think he would do a better job than Romeu I that role. Always thought he was a good footballer.

All pace and no end product was Mane in his first 6 months or so. Traore has brilliant ability as well as the pace, in terms of his ability on the ball. End product is lacking atm but he is only 22 so could improve. As Brendy says though, Wolves can afford to gamble on someone like him as they have a better squad than us. We need a more “safe” option, which is why we are signing Routledge
