Ive watched for the past 10 hours, another reminder of how far we have fallen, but at least we have had a better day than Brentford.

Although I used to like it when we signed 50 players on deadline day I have grown to realize that it was a over hyped waste of my day. A product of Sky.
I don't like the fact that we haven't signed decent players but realistic of what to expect.

So we've sent Ingram to Northampton on loan to a club that is bottom of their league and just sacked their manager - he must think we really dont like like him!! Don't get it.

Or giving him the message that he's fallen behind Lumley in the pecking order.

I wouldn't say so, he's too good to be on the bench really and has probably said he wants to be playing, loaning him out with a recall makes perfect sense, if Smithies gets injured then Lumley can come in to finish the game before recalling Ingram to cover longer term.

Probably, but I don't remember Ingram being too great in the Brentford game.

Very sensible.

So, no defenders signed but a couple of wingers. Perhaps Ollie has a cunning plan?...

Perhaps he wants to play with 3:5:2 with two wingbacks who can both cut in as well as consistently cross accurate balls to the two big strikers that we currently have?

That'll bring team harmony.
Now all Harry has to do is get the team to gel.
We are witnessing history repeating itself.
Will be interesting to see how they get on. Our experience suggests they will fail but who knows? It is absolutely Harry's style. Sign all and sundry and hope for the best. There is no way that signing 14 players is strategic.
