I'm ReALLY hoping that we can both progress to the 4th round and have that game rearranged, even if only for a few days and po.ssibly have Leitner fit again. I see the Baggies play the Blades on 23rd Feb and Florists were due to play the Rams the same day, but that has been moved to Monday 25th.
Couldn't tell you whether Ipswich or Norwich have the worst record, but the record for 3rd round exits is currently shared between Plymouth and QPR, at 48.
Apparently we are signing French central defender Remy. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/n...ing-deal-for-impressive-27-year-old-defender/
Seems like a bit of a weird one? Not the youngest, yet supposedly a long contract. Plays in a position where we currently seem to have 4 genuine options. Unless we're expecting to sell a CB - and all the talk from the club is that we aren't - I can't make sense of it. Even if he can play DM too, it's definitely a secondary position and I doubt he'd offer more than Godfrey. But then given Husband appears to be the only outright failure of the current scouting setup, if it does happen then I guess we will see!
Four genuine options who have conceded 8 goals in the last three matches, all at home, at least three yellow and one red card and no victorys.
He was one of our own, but Jacob's star is waning. https://www.itsroundanditswhite.co....-months-has-been-a-colossal-flop-jacob-murphy
Marshall to Brum? https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/h...ng-birmingham-city-plot-move-for-27-year-old/
Regardless of his undoubted quality, it typifies the problems at United that they're prepared to spend big on a position of relative strength, when they don't even have a full-time manager.
Speculative rumour alert: Yusuf Yazici from Turkish side Trabzonspor. CAM/RAM, 22, Turkish international, under a long contract. Supposedly we'd sign him in the summer if we achieve promotion. I suspect that's the first and last we'll hear of that rumour.
