Its pretty much a given they will be signing. Was told last week that it wont be confirmed until the manager is back in Bristol.

Rumour on OTIB have us linked with former winger David Cotterill.

Hope this is true as he would be a great addition at this level!

Andy Stockhausen tells me on twitter that he keeps being told the club want Luke Freeman.... Maybe we could still get our number 1 target yet?

Bristol City will announce on Tuesday the signing of 3 players during the close season.

Two of these deals were completed over a week ago, but with players, coaches and the team manager on holiday no announcement was previously made.

Having had a successful loan period with the club, Wade Elliott has put pen to paper on a one year deal with a one extension clause.

City have also agreed a one year deal with George Elokobi who was previously on loan with the Robins which was cut short due to injury.

City will also complete a two year deal with former Arsenal youth midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong, providing the player passes his medical on Tuesday morning.

Former Bristol City winger David Cotterill is also in talks about a return although nothing definite has been agreed between the two parties. Bristol City are said to be interested however.

Bristol City have also had two bids accepted. Luke Freeman of Stevenage for £750,000 & also £2,000,000 for Manchester City EDS Striker Jordi Hiwula. Manchester City have also agreed a 2015 Friendly to be held at Ashton Gate as part of the deal, and have a buy back option for £4,000,000 at any time. Bristol City are now in talks with both player.

Steve Cotterill returns from holiday this weekend and Bristol City will unveil Mark Little and Wade Elliott as their first signings of the summer early in the week.

Shiny, haven't you anything else to do this evening?
I've been watching a team that many in England would regard as third rate, taking apart the South Koreans.

Now listen Messrs Hodgson, Dyke, Rooney. This is how we expect the overpaid stars of England to perform.

I'm currently listening to Johnny Cash whilst trying to find a nice shirt for my cousins wedding this Saturday!

Have always liked him but only recently got into his music. So many great songs it's hard to pick a favourite! (although I sing Folsom Prison Blues the most)

We gave our granddaughter when she was six, Johnny Cash "Children's Songs". She is now eight, she loves listening to him. Great artists appeal to all age groups.

He really is great!

Anywho a few morning transfer rumours

This will be an interesting week for Bristol City, with several transfers to be confirmed and negotiations to be concluded.

Wade Elliot, recently released by Birmingham City has accepted a one year deal. This due to an impressive loan spell completed with the Robins last campaign.

Secondly Mark Little, formally of Peterborough United will sign a two year contract under the bosman ruling. The right back will be first choice.

Thirdly, Will Grigg of Brentford will complete his move within the week, fee thought to be around three-hundred-thousand-pounds. The former Walsall man has been limited of chances during Brentford's impressive promotion season and is now surplus to requirements at the bees.

Talks still on going concerning Stevenage winger, Luke Freeman. The left midfielder has been a familiar name on the fans lips since January as two bids were rejected for the former Arsenal youngster in the mid season transfer window. Borough thought to be holding out for three quarters of a million for the hot prospect. Personal terms are agreed, sticking point Is the fee.

3, shall be confirmed between now and Wednesday mid-week. The final deal to be finalised on Friday.
