Is Carayol any good?
Good move for Clarkson in that he will not have to move - he will be a very good player in League 2

Carayol has so say interested,Hull,Derby,Brighton and City,he must have something going for him,I've never watched him so I can't add anything more, except the "gasheads" rave about him...

Carayol definately has a lot of potential, good skills on the ball and differently from a lot of players at that level his crossing from both wings is actually pretty decent. Obviously with any player from two leagues lower it's a worry if they can make the step up but i'd think Carayol has more of a chance than many hence the interest from Middlesborough among others.

Former dundee united centre half garry kenneth has been offered contracts from aberdeen , hearts , hibs , sheffield united , blackburn, coventry with bristol city , sheffield wed , leeds and blackpool along with a host of unnamed turkish clubs all interested . overheard a conversation with his agent today at the landmark hotel in dundee .
kenneth has also been working on his fitness running the sidlaw mountains and lots of long hours in the gym in order to secure himself a deal as he had a few niggling injuries which stopped him from being at full fitness and would prefer sorting it out sooner rather than later for family reasons

Big list of clubs to choose from, some with better finances to pay weekly wage than us so wont hold my breath on this one.
Think we are linked with every Scotish player and his dog according to the rumour sites

cant open the link but if its the lad that was at scunthorpe last season then we have to go for him, heard nothing but good things, plus hes only young. must be about 20

Agreed. Carayol is a very good player and too good for L2. He got stronger throughout last season and, like any player, improves if you play him regularly, which obviously the imbecile Buckle did not - despite having the forethought to sign him in the first place.

He is an exciting player to have in the team - he loves taking defenders on and skins them with both trickery and pace. The good thing about him is that he has a very good end product, either telling crosses or powerful finishing. Don't be concerned about his current L2 status - your Albert came from L2's nether regions and he's one of your most powerful attacking weapons, ditto Rickie Lambert - a L2 player who will now do well in the Premier League.

I don't want Muzzy to go, but I'd certainly listen to offers around £800k for him. That kind of money is good business for a L2 player.

I'm intrigued about these Clarkson to the Gas rumours - where do they come from? I would agree that he is probably too good for L2 but I'd love to have him as he does appear to be a good player on his day - you paid £800k for him 3 years ago and he was good enough to get a couple of Scottish caps.

I think McGhee may have been his manager at Motherwell? And being settled in the area etc it would make sense as he wouldn't have to move his family and all that.
