When he retires from playing will become 1st team coach! As Derek turns the coaching staff around! There will be one or two appointments to his backroom staff over the summer! As he and the city board start they new 5 year plan! New chairmen and managers 1st full season! Promising times at Bristol
But this season is just goin to be all about consolidation! And building a new side! Expect 6-7 new faces with possible 3 players being sold for transfer fees! From very reliable source! Watch this space!

Hulse failed a medical yesterday and is due to have another today.

Lafferty is one of the others! As I have herd the same things! Expect announcements in the next 2 weeks as to new faces arriving from the club!
 
this rob hulse rumor seems to be taking off, apparently failed a medical yesterday and is/had one today, hope it aint true :/
 
they used to partner each over at Sheffield united smh, perhaps del wants us to become a more physical side upfront, if that's the case were going to need a 15 goal a season midfielder to chip in as cant see hulse and stead getting more than 25 combined
 
Hulse made 50 appearances for Sheff U and scored 8 goals - Steady scored 8 in 39 games - so yes hardly prolific!!
 
exactly why i dont want hulse, ive never EVER rated him, so please Del, i don't know what your thinking but please dont sign him
 
I have heard from a reliable source at the club that Bristol City have signed Paul Dixon from Dundee United. The club also expect to sign Richard Keogh who wants to re-sign for City. Talks are well advanced for an unnamed goalkeeper who was at a premiership side last year. Dave Clarkson will sign for The Gas and Jamie McAllister will have a trial at Yeovil Town.
 
Bristol City boss Derek McInnes is keeping a close eye on Tottenham's Spanish midfielder Iago Falqué, He was loaned out to Southampton last season and could only make 1 appearance, It is thought Redknapp wants to loan at the 22 year old

Well he is an attacking midfield player - his cv though does not look inspiring - just 1 senior appearance
 
Clarkson to the "gas" rumours are getting stronger,Clarkson isn't spoiled for choice. A failed championship player, worked with McGhee previously, and he likes that rovers have a great history of producing great strikers. Deal should be completed by Thursday pm according to sources very close to the player

Clarky is better than div 4 in my opinion very strange deal if this comes off.
