we could but i would rather keep adomah, and have someone as good on the left side, All thats needed then in a crative midfielder and the midfield is solid, and could very well see us pushing next year
http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/boro-f...d-to-make-the-boro-first-team-84229-31046302/ Another article linking us again with Stephen McManus, The paper says McManus is a fair bet to be joining us
City will be negotiating with a lot of clubs and a lot of players - in the end most of them won't come off for one reason or another. I. E clubs can't agree fee, players can't agree contract, manager meets player and doesn't think they'll fit, player gets a 'better' offer, player pursueded by existing manager/players to stay, wife says she doesn't want her kids getting Bristolian accent(!), agent is a dick
26 May 2012 12:52:21 Leeds have had two bids rejected for Bristol City striker Jon Stead. Stead was thought to be keen on the move, but I doubt he will request a transfer.
I said Adomah would go before the season starts , I hope John Stead stays was absolute brilliant the last three months. Can definatly see Adomah going, step up Yannick Bolasie.
Interesting that Stead's name was not mentioned when talking about players to build the team around - maybe some truth in it???
I'm shocked Stead is still with us. His career shows that he doesnt stay at clubs long. His time at City is the longest he has spent at any team and he only joined in 2010 (excluding his academy days).
Jon Stead has always given his best to th team when played. But if a player is interested in leaving, get the best money possible and let them go.
to be fair we paid what, 250k for him, we would be lucky to get that, not saying he isnt good enough to be valued more than that but a year on his contract, would rather keep him for a season and if he wants to move next year then so be it, He's been nothing but brilliant for us
Riccardo Fuller attracting attention from the likes of Celtic, Norwich, Bristol City, Peterborough, Hearts and Sheffield Wednesday Hope this is true, always rated him, Especially in the championship
I know Doobie had a nightmare play off final, but would like to see him at City, good footballing brain but could need a out an out goal scorer along side him
still remember stokes first season in the prem, Cant remember who it was against but he flicked the ball on with his foot done a 180 turn and smashed it in the corner, was brilliant to watch
He does look promising, copied are the comments on he rumour site Like to see him go to posh but theres not a chance because of his wages! I'm not gonna slate any of the clubs but I'd say Norwich and Celtic is unlikely due to the fact they have good strikers in a similar mould e.g. Holt and Samaras, Peterborough are just a bit too small and Hearts (correct me if im wrong) wouldn't be able to fund his wages I know Bristol City are in for a big man up top so maybe and Sheff Wed are going to want these kind of players for the coming season so no reason why not so in my opinion between Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday
