Our transfer window just seemed to close (not that it ever opened) listening to the CEO.

Still be no good as there's no one good enough to put a decent cross in for him !

If they do anything let’s hope it’s not at the 11th hour when we can’t do anything about a replacement. Can’t see it happening though.

Will this be our first January (or any) transfer window with no activity?

Why are you all in a hurry to let Dykes go . He is always available to play even when h had pneumonia h didn't want to go off. He always gives 100% . He is not a regular goal scorer but that's because of the way we set up He is used more as a link player to win ball in the air and hold it up for other runners who aren't doing that . He has scored 2 in last 3 games so maybe lay off him

Also a lot of negativity against Jimmy Dunne . Again he always gives 100% and wants to play very rarely misses a game but yes the short play out from the back doesn't really suit him but he is not afraid to look for the ball when nobody else wants it he is always talking to players around him letting them know what they should be doing . So again stop being negative get behind our players our team our club

You're right, he is always available to play. It's just sometimes I wish he wasn't. He puts himself about but I don't agree he always gives 100%. Case in point being Sunday's game when, as Troy Deeney and Jamie Mackie pointed out, if he'd busted a gut to get in the 6 yard box when the keeper parried Armstrong's shot, he'd have had a tap in. But typically he was loitering outside the box, admiring his tattoos. And we've all seen him miss so many absolute sitters that I'm only surprised he managed to prod the ball over the line on Sunday.
I've defended him for ages, but this has gone on far too long. I'm done with him now. Whatever we can get for him, I'd take.

Fair play Cavan. Dykes has been given a lot of leeway in the last couple of years and his graft and turning up hasn’t gone amiss but he was brought in to score goals whatever position he is put in. Charlie told him to be more selfish and it worked for a while. With only a number of places available it’s hard to see him keep his place if a goalscorer was available. That unfortunately is the measure if it.
I have really liked Jimmy Dunne but for some inexplicable reason it feels like he’s lost his way and his confidence. No idea why but it’s letting older players be considered above him which can’t help. I would love to see a little more aggression from him; a more assured feel in front of goal and much more confidence on the ball. Not so easy in a team struggling at the foot of the table.
We are all behind them Cavan but they all have to give us something too. Feels a bit one way with the amazing support they are given at home and away, given the results we’ve been getting. I’m sure it will improve but it’s slow progress with this group and hard to see how many will remain over the next two seasons as long as Marti is here.

Because he’s ****ing **** and anyone dumb enough to offer actual money for the useless **** should be sectioned. He’s scored a deflection and a tap-in.

Any of these wasters should be offloaded for any fee apart from Chair.

Is it a lack of hunger or just a lack of instinct with Dykes? Had we a Charlie Austin or even a Chris Martin at least one of the 3 or 4 glorious crosses Paul Smyth put in last weekend would have been buried but Dykes was nowhere to be seen.
