Latest on Bryan is set to move to Burnley for £6m - sounds a little bit low? Reckon the Mirror pulled that figure out of their behind, though there's an awful amount of smoke, so probably safe to assume there is a fire and he's on his way.

Blows a bit hot and cold but I'd be sad to lose him and, being a bit greedy, would be disappointed to receive much less than an even £10m for him, though understanding his contract only has a year to run, so maybe over-ambitious.

Would be, but can't see that happening. If he's available then you'll have a host of clubs after him, including lower end Premiership clubs and those enjoying parachute payments. If he is leaving Derby, expect him to rock up at somewhere like Stoke.
 
Has he ever won anything? like promotion he has been a player of month/championship ….. big temptation to go with a relegated team but would he pick right one and not get relegated

Villa will be on a second parachute payment? so likely to off load a few and spend for newer models!..... they do have a couple of reasonable players worth a punt if they are released / up for grabs

Villa's third year and last JGF - It dropped to a 3 year period when they came down, bigger bucks up front but with decreasing payments as the years go by.

They got £33M this season just gone (2nd payment) but will only recieve £15M in this their final year. Still a lot of money but they'll really have to tighten their belt.

I read somewhere that even with their 33m this season they still lost something like 19m so they need to ship a few out quickly.

Terry gone for a start and Snodgrass won't be retained on his season long loan from West Ham. Watch out for Warnock going for his old player Snoddy.

He thought a lot of him when he was at Leeds and was gutted when Ken Bates told him he'd have to sell him to get some dosh in.
