You can try to rationalise this as much as you want Breezy and you've always advocated selling our best players at a profit in the hope we'd get yet another cheap 'diamond'. That time is well and truly over - at least for now. We are deep in the **** because we can't score goals and we need players like Ayew much much more than the money which is NO consolation if we are relegated.

IF he goes that's a real nail in our coffin unless the Doumbia signing comes off and there's no guarantee of that, or that he would do the business if he comes.

If Ayew goes, then that's more than a transfer, that's a towel being chucked in. With the money up for grabs this season, it would take an obscene bid to take him from you, even if the board are cashing in.
It's true boys pantilimon is part of the swap
Like I say , Ayew will want to go to a bigger club and not downgrade to you guys ....and could you speak up ..me and Ayew can't here you from down there

I talked about selling 3 players , not the whole team.
Gomis , because he's become semi useless and want him bought out and rid his 55 a week wage .
Shelvey , because he's not fitting in and was keeping Britton from playing and because we could get top money. ...as it turned out we did get top money
Ayew , we could make a bundle and he isn't the type of winger that suits us .we have Routledge Barrow and Montero who do .
Although Ayew is our top scorer , look where we are in the table .After 21 games , as a team , we've scored 19 goals and don't look ourselves .
Last season after 21 games , Without Ayew , we had 27 goals .Rationlize that .

For the life of me can't think why we'd even consider selling Ayew in this position, this time of the season!! Unless they offer >£25m

Pure bullshit IMO
