I can't recall calling people idiots but if I did I apologise. It would have been rude of me and out of character. To some extent it is a question of expectation. We were beaten for the first time on Saturday, are only one point from the play offs and only one win off the top 2 in a very competitive league when we have a squad that has to adjust to their new surroundings. If, like me, you feel that to be an acceptable start then you are reasonably content - if you expected more then you are unhappy. Same with transfers in. I thought in Jan that Pinto, Klose and Naismith were good buys - opinions differ. I think that the signings so far in this window are good and I am happy with the inclusion of the youngsters. I fully expect a striker or 2 in the next couple of days but in the reality of the market place my expectations are lower than others. I just suggest we hold our fire until far later in the season before we rush to judgement on our signings, AN, Naismith and our prospects for this season and next.

I'm drinking water. Another way of saying "I don't have an answer"

I keep saying, It's just my opinion, people on here try to start arguments. This is just my opinion. I think we are still allowed one in this country.

Just seen on the sky sports transfer website our odds on signing Jordan Rhodes have changed from 7/1 to 4/1 where as Villa have gone from 7/1 to 8/1 wonder if this means anything

I'm sorry if you didn't but some of the comments could come across condescending. I've said my view so many times, and very clearly. I'm getting pretty p*ssed off with people jumping on me like I've shouted sack everyone.

Read through the resont past posts I've done before being a D**khead. I've stood up for AN so many times. I think people scan read and respond to 1/4 of a post as long as it meets their agenda.

Get ready for people to call you a tw*t because they are set up to make people bet. That's all I keep getting when I "Report transfer news"

Even when very often it happens, they do sign. You are probably still "a tw*t"

But what is your point? Specifically? That we have bought a player you don't think we should have bought? That we should be buying all the players that other top end championship clubs are buying? That we should spend big money regardless of the quality of the player we buy? That we should buy old cheap players? What?

    No. None of that.

I suppose you miss the point if you just jump in with an objective.

What the hell does jump in with an objective mean?!
Come on, take a deep breath, put your brain in gear and tell us what your point is.

I've been out all afternoon and only just got back in, so I'll summarise what I've read and what I think.
You make some good points 1950, but my main concern and that shared by lots of other fans who post on here, is that AN hasn't learnt from his mistakes of chopping and changing the team and also picking 'square pegs for round holes' - look at his decision to pick Naismith (who has been performing abysmally for an £8M player) as a a striker when a fit Lafferty was on the bench - WHY???? If there's an issue between AN and Lafferty, then get rid, as it would only be a loss of £2.5M. or a 3rd of the loss we suffered on RvW also, AN picks Whitts to play at RB, who may be quite good going forward, but is useless in defence - Martin can make up for his lack of speed, because he reads the game well.. I accept he has several key players out with injuries, but I'm expecting to see several of them fit to play against Cardiff and a lot more attacking intent by the entire team and I really hope Naismith isn't even on the bench. If we have another plucky win, it won't silence the AN out brigade, he has to take a chance and play some of he youngsters, as they can't perform any worse than the 11 who started on Saturday.
CR needs to be rocking and intimidating for visiting teams, but we need the players to perform and at least like they're trying to score goals and if we score a few, it won't matter so much if a defender has a lapse of concentration or whatever!!!!

I really don't Know what you are reading. I've never had a problem with you, but tonight..Bloody hell.

Go and read my comments in the other threads, and this one. I made my opinion very clear, and compared to most on here, I'd say I was on the fence but 70% with AN.

....Can't wait for you to interact with people like KIO etc.

I don't think you have at all. You're just kicking up dust. But I'm glad you wont ask again. We have enough negativity on here.

Sky Sports reports that (1) Okaka is going to Watford (2) Sylla is going to QPR and (3) both Wolves and Fulham are keen to sign Chris Martin from Derby. Having scored 60 odd goals for Derby in 3 seasons he seems to have been pushed down the pecking order - a very strange reversal. Perhaps he is another one who has told the manager to shove his job up his.......... :emoticon-0172-mooni Meanwhile a certain Championship club still awaits the formal announcement of the signing of a striker......................... Oh and (4) the Bristol City striker Kodija is wanted by Hull.

I wonder if Martin is still not fully fit? Does seem odd to pick Whittaker ahead of him.
I think we did have a couple of youngsters start on Saturday didn't we? Weren't Canos and Murphy both in the starting 11?

You may well be right re Martin and yes both Canos and Murphy were in the starting 11, but I'd like to see Maddison come on for say the last 15 minutes, as he couodn't have been any worse than what we had on the pitch. IMO, we would be better playing Whitts at LB (he can play both and if he feels Toffolo isn't quite ready) so that would let Brady play further forward.
