Would someone please kindly advise if Norwich City Football Club have secured the services of a player whose prime objective is to ensure that the ball used during the course of play is put into the opposition team's net thus resulting in a goal for his own side.

 

It's been a couple of hours since I checked in. Have we done a striker yet?

 

The Mbokani rumour seems to have died. Was AN actually in discussion with the player and agent or was it one of those wishful thinking rumours?

 

All "rumours" are started by bookies to get the gullible to part with their dosh.

 

I think I saw AN say something along the lines of he has "spoken to the agent, but like all players he wants to play in the top leagues. That's where we are at the moment, we'll see what happens."

Sort of seemed like AN put our interest across to them, and if he doesn't get the offers they hope for, he might be more available to us.

 

Yeah, I think if anything happens it'll be very late, if/when it becomes apparent that his options are the Championship or another season in Ukraine.

Yea, I think I said at the time on here that we need a striker in, then see if we can get mbokani on deadline day.

 

He's not too bad. I think he's decent enough. To be honest, I'm just desperate for any striker.

 

He's over 6" and could play up on his own. Got a pretty decent reputation.

 

I honestly would be happy with Crouch on loan. He would definitely score goals.

We loaned him in 2004 and it worked maybe we can chuck Huckerby and Iwan on as well ?.

Crouch is 35 , one for the future I presume ?

 

He managed 9 goals in 28 games for Forest last season... not exactly great guns. Id take him if we can get Mbokani or Rhodes as well.

 

Hmmm, they had Lansbury and Reid providing as well....so can't really say he probably didn't get the service.

 

Not when you loan someone mate. That's a one for the now.

 

Olivera on loan with an option to buy seems good to me as it would leave money to buy another striker as well. His 9 goals for Forest came in 24 starts and 4 sub appearances which seems good to me and that he's already had success in the Champs is even better. Hope we get this done.
