Siam, all banter aside, I honestly believe if there is a case then swansea will pay what is due, but to demand large sums of money then goto the media, sounds as if they trying to pile on the pressure. gonna wait n see what happens. Not worried at all, dont think our chairman would jeopardize our status now as a premier league team.
 
ToL...I agree ;) But I just wonder if Huw has got his head around the fact that he is playing with the big boys and Swansea will be considered little fish and get treated as such. Also he will need to spend!!!

H Bomb I'm afraid your putting the cart before the horse here, the facts are that it was a Bluebird that first made the accusation that we have not paid rent, if my memory serves me correct, it was your mad Prof, who started this, and the 16,000 threshold free rent was an explanation recently found in this Swiss article, so as I see it, it was you boys who made the original accusation with no facts, and as such the onus is clearly on you lot to prove the accusation, which of course you can't, so basically it's time to shut up girls!.............

That's how its gotta be for everyone, fingers crossed though Qpr continue to shoot themselves and end up with 0 signings minus tarabaat, might be good for us if they cement bottom place. gonna be a tough season, just hope home performance will be enough to secure some points, as for you lot, we all wanting cardiff to come up. Boot qpr, wigan and someone else out, take their spot <ok>

Phil, I'll have to get back to you on that mate. I didn't mention anything about rent. Personally I'm not bothered if its payed or not or by what means. It's not a question of whether I'm right or wrong (well it is :)) but I've seen the 16000 figure mentioned so many times on so many threads I've lost track of the original but I haven't got time right now to search through them all....if I'm wrong, I'll hold my hands up and admit it. <ok>

EDIT: (so much for a lunch break :))

The first mention of rent arrears (that I can find) is in the form of a question, not a statement (post #13) and the first mention of the 16000 attendance thing is a direct response to the question (#14) by your good self.

all i have to say they have supported the club bought a ticket all good for the club i say who cares if there making money on them? where else in wales can you watch premier league football in wales huh?

Do us a favour mate, edit your post on the goodwillie thread mate, I think you know the one, I know you want to make a point and not bow down to pressure on this, but it's not about that, its about doing the decent thing, we're going to be arguing all season long so dont lets have that hanging over us
I know we go close to the bone, all of us at some time, but it would be a real good thing to do.
