if we sell any more players now, then its clear the finances are ****ed

lets see

It all depends who, and also why.
No need to keep dramatising. Look at it rationally.
I'd be concerned if we sold Panda or Hughes.
Selling Kamara arguably makes good sense, especially when we now have options and we've proven we can bring in good quality players still. As would for example Slater (although personally I'd keep him for now as a versatile squad player IF he can accept that reality).
We can't just keep adding players without letting some go.

its not dramatasing
we have a two window fee ban becasue the club was run pathetically bad

and its clear we still need cash desperately

we have to sell one of pandur, hughes or kamara

it will be kamara, but if its not, then pandur

I think for the club it’s a positive thing. We don’t need to be spending 10/15 million now. We are in trouble as it is. Our signings with cash has been poor, and our free signings are a lot better.

Just affects us in the loan market a little maybe. But our hit rate on that has been poor as well.

A bit gutted about Zambrano but ah well. I guess we loan out Reda for a season now, shame we didn't get a look at him in pre-season.

You are right, it's not 'dramatasing' :emoticon-0136-giggl

The rest is nothing more than your opinion. I'm still waiting for actual facts and details. Hopefully they are shared soon now.

Oh no off we go again the ayes and the nay sayers - the circumstances have all been done to death . Let’s just deal with this announcement
, what it won’t let us do and what it will - let’s try to keep the team and the majority of fans in a positive mind frame - otherwise I’m going to have to paint the living room to escape !

.... said nobody, including me, ever!

As I understand it, yes, it is a fact now that we have a 2 window fee ban, not just for a laugh but because the club ****ed up with timing of payments and it's cash flow planning.
The rest about us for example having to sell one of Panda, Hughes, Kamara or whatever 'because we desperately need the money' is at this point conjecture.
Personally I don't believe for one minute we are trying to sell Panda or Hughes, just that there has been interest from other clubs in them which we are wanting to resist. If we so desperately needed the money then they'd be gone. As already explained, I believe Kamara may well move on for quite different reasons.

That would be nice .... but it just ain't going to happen .... at least not while posters keep asserting their conjecture as fact that we're having to sell because we're desperate for the money, etc.
I'd love it if we could all just leave it until we know the actual facts and circumstances (which has pretty much been the basis of where I've been coming from all along).
If it comes out that we are actually skint, then fine, and I'll be among the first to acknowledge it. but that hasn't been established as fact, it's repeatedly denied, the actual actions of and words from the club don't suggest that's the case, and I personally don't think it is the case.
If only posters would just wait and see ... but I guess that's not what message boards are for, so fair enough.

I think selling Kamara makes poor sense.

It’s gambling on Millar and Belloumi coming back fit and with the same ability level after both being out for a long time. It could take them months to get back to full match fitness.

Ndala has made a good start but is still young and could be inconsistent, he wouldn’t be the first. Akintola we have no idea.

Keep Kamara until January and reassess.
