but surely the FA / EFL would come down on us very hard for blatantly bending the rules

In our defence, if we're being punished, then it's on us to find a solution or workaround. It isn't our fault if there isn't a rule saying we can't do that.

Only downside to that is you can only have five loan players in a squad at a time, so we couldn't go mental anyway.

At least he's bought and paid for...

Hopefully get £55k for him in the fire sale,it'll pay for Acuns fuel when he comes over for the next Q&A:emoticon-0148-yes:
Let's hope he is paid for. There is probably someone at Bramhall Lane as we speak, pulling a file marked R Slater, out of the filing cabinet and checking that everything was paid!

The water, gas, electricity, broadband and phone companies don’t care if the reason you’re overdue on your bills is because you haven’t been paid yet.

Most sensible people have some money put away for emergencies to cover said expenses. Scrambling to move money around to pay your bills late is what an unprepared dickhead or someone who is completely skint does.
Whilst I understand your frustrations... the last paragraph is something you might want to reconsider. there are fellow posters on here who are out of work and indeed have just lost jobs in the last week.

You would have thought having described the Louie Barry late payment as a technicality, they would have been making sure there weren’t any more ‘technicalities’ on the horizon. Then up pops the Fin Burns overdue payment. No chance that punishment gets overturned now.
I think Fin Burns falls into the category of '**** them, Man City have more to worry about than noticing if we kept up payments'. It does make you wonder though how many technicalities we can have before Acun will admit we are in the ****.

What a cluster **** this all is.

Im at the airport on my way to Cyprus for 2 weeks. Hopefully the picture will be a bit clearer by the time I get back, but I doubt it'll be much better.

And if it is unravelling, you seem quite pleased about it ?
After all point scoring is more important to you than the fate of the club you claim to support.

Are we all bedwetters or are we all smug? If we’re bedwetters then surely that means we care about the club’s situation and are anxious about it. If we’re smug then it means we’re happy about it. Which is it?

Everything’s black and white with you? No shades of grey. Your shade is fanny flap, his is smug. Hope that clarifies the situation for you.

It's all unravelling for you not for the club. Thus your latest name change.

Do I? I've repeatedly said this is a shambles. How am I pleased about this? I'm enjoying you squirming, not the club struggling.

when we signed semi and phillips early on, it really did seem like there was genuinely optimism for the summer and season

its actually ****e how total incomptence has killed all that off once again
