It might actually make it more palatable.

Currently if we implode due to the loans of Louie Barry (who was essentially ineffective albeit through no fault of his or the Club) and Fin Burns (who was ineffective for a whole season and was a very poor signing) then we’ve lost everything for a couple of hopeful punts.

is that cockney rhyming slang Ernie?

The water, gas, electricity, broadband and phone companies don’t care if the reason you’re overdue on your bills is because you haven’t been paid yet.

Most sensible people have some money put away for emergencies to cover said expenses. Scrambling to move money around to pay your bills late is what an unprepared dickhead or someone who is completely skint does.

Don't knock it till you've tried it,best days of some of our lives were spent watching Saturday afternoon wrestling waiting for the teleprinter...

Those were the days! Bit more Big Daddy and Jeff Capes my era, but yeah, watching that and waiting for the scores to come in, good days.

He isn't just "any owner" though is he. How do you not see that? He simply hasn't deserved the abuse and mistrust from some ...but does need to sort all this 'admin' out going forward. Let's hope he's finally got it right with Jak and the changed infrastructure he's put in place.

Yes he is just an owner. He’s not some unique owner. Hes a man with good intentions that’s got a lot wrong and right. The jury is out if he’s got this manager appointment correct and even then I’d suspect any failings of Jak would fall onto this current transfer restrictions.

We of all fanbases should know more than most to put ownership on a pedestal and exempt them from fair and just criticism. Some of it has been rhetoric I don’t disagree. However, a lot on here that have criticised him fairly for what he’s got wrong have been lumped into bed wetters and naysayers. We all want what’s best for the club.

but surely the FA / EFL would come down on us very hard for blatantly bending the rules

Not bending any rules if they skirted around it like that, they may not like it and in future they might change that same as they changed rules because birmingham used it to their advantage but there is no rules i am aware of that says they can't do that.

That's a very dangerous game to play............

It really is difficult to imagine how he can read all this OTT abuse and not think “**** it, see how they cope when I pull the plug and cut my losses.”

The reaction on social media by some is as if he’s committed a serious crime.

He’s made a couple of late payments due to a cash flow issue. No supporter has lost out financially because of these issues. Our players most of whom have more cash than they know what to do with had their payment delayed by two days. Some suppliers have overdue payments. That happens in most businesses. He has explained the issue and has said the issue will be sorted.

The most vocal critics are mostly the same crowd who were pissed off by the sacking of Rosenior.

And just to be clear, yes I’m pissed off that it looks like this season could be another relegation battle due to the sanctions that the EFL have imposed and the fact that we should have avoided this.

But I cant see any likely positive outcome of forcing the owner into a sale, as I do not believe there will be any prospective buyers in the near future who will pass the “fit and proper” test.
