He isn't just "any owner" though is he. How do you not see that? He simply hasn't deserved the abuse and mistrust from some ...but does need to sort all this 'admin' out going forward. Let's hope he's finally got it right with Jak and the changed infrastructure he's put in place.

Youre starting to sound delusional at this point..

“The Fin Burns situation is actually quite simple. We intended to use proceeds of a player sale to settle this fee and as soon as the EFL told us this wasn’t possible - due to reasons not related to us, we made a direct payment immediately to end the matter.”

Making it up as he goes along.
thats the bit that made me laugh to be fair , the EFL told us that wasnt possible, so he was trying to do something against the rules, then decided to pay cos they said he had too...<laugh>

I 99.9% believe him, and have all along.
However, he really does need to sort out (or more to the point, ensure someone else is sorting out) these issues going forward.
Some of the reactions on here (and elsewhere) have been so ott they've been in outer space. That's not what supporters do. Some should read the last few words he says in that statement, look in the mirror then hang your heads in shame.
I don't have a problem with anyone believing him.!!!!

Just the same as you shouldn't have a problem with those who doubt him.I doubt him and have for some time and just for clarity I'll hang my head in shame for no man.If I make a 16 hour Saturday round trip from Glasgow,it's not for the benefit of some dodgy, deluded Turk or some of those before him,it's for the love of the Club I've supported since childhood.

Now tell me now what it is you do as a 'supporter'?

Maybe Acun should buy Zambrano 'personally' loan him to the club. In fact, how would that deal stack up against EFL restrictions.

In fact is that a way around it if his pal at Fenerbache 'supports' him.

He isn't ours is he? He was due to be ratified as our player on July 1st, but restrictions came into place a day earlier
I'm not overly sure how this is going to work in this case...Aren't we obliged to buy due to triggering it by playing him in so many games.?

I'm still expecting more bad news, more clubs coming forward. to claim we owe them x & y for transfer instalments

It might actually make it more palatable.

Currently if we implode due to the loans of Louie Barry (who was essentially ineffective albeit through no fault of his or the Club) and Fin Burns (who was ineffective for a whole season and was a very poor signing) then we’ve lost everything for a couple of hopeful punts.

Fair point, I hadn't considered it from that perspective
