Heres summary of the podcast done via Chat GPT

Key Themes & Summary:
⚠️ Transfer Embargo Fallout
  • Hull City has been hit with a transfer embargo due to financial mismanagement — specifically missed transfer payments.

  • The hosts emphasize how damaging this is to the club's reputation, calling it a "horrendous look."

  • They say even if the debt is repaid and the embargo lifted, the public embarrassment remains and trust is lost.
Financial Transparency & Acun Ilıcalı's Role
  • Owner Acun Ilıcalı is expected to make media appearances soon, but there's skepticism.

  • The hosts urge him to show contrition — not to spin the situation, but to acknowledge mistakes.

  • While Acun may argue the money was owed only to himself and that the club is financially stable, this doesn't change how it looks externally.
Fan Trust Is Fragile
  • Hull City fans have endured decades of instability under various owners.

  • While Acun has done positive PR work (e.g., free holidays, reduced tickets), there’s little on-pitch progress.

  • The embargo reawakens long-standing distrust, especially after a season that nearly ended in relegation.
Momentum Lost
  • Excitement had been building with the new manager (Sergei Yakinovich) and players returning (like Liam Millar and Louis Barry).

  • But the embargo has deflated optimism among fans, pushing them back to the end-of-season gloom.

  • There’s a fear that instead of learning from this, the club will simply move on without reflection.
Cultural Disconnect?
  • The hosts touch on a possible cultural difference in how Turkish clubs (like those Acun may be used to) operate financially vs. English clubs — hinting this may be a root of the missteps.
Tone
  • Critical but not hostile.

  • The hosts want accountability and a learning moment, not scapegoating.

  • Repeated calls for transparency, acknowledgment of failure, and better governance.

don’t take this **** as gospel, seen a few studies recently where chatGPT essentially lies about what it’s seen to appease the user.

if you’re inputting from links it’s a 50:50 if it truly listens to it all or instead connects the dots and gives you what it thinks you want to hear.

edit: someone was linking essays they’d wrote with different themes and it was assuming topics of the essays and delivering feedback, through various questions and prods the user revealed the AI was pretending to have read what they had linked and was making assumptions.

also realise you’re probably being tongue in cheek and I’ve gone off on one cause I’ve had 5 beers.

It's rubbish isn't it. I avoid companies that use it to write social media posts too as they're clearly too lazy to passionately write about their own product or service.

I don’t think it’s rubbish it’s just on the user to see what’s getting put into it, recently I’ve been using it to simulate conversations in Italian (I’m learning) very very useful, but in terms of regarding opinions and analysis it has a defined goal of encouraging user experience and delivering the end goal of the user being satisfied (at the expense of reality) needs using with that level of mindfulness

Does the EFL log every payment?
I'm assuming as it's the start of a new transfer window there will have been updates. Certainly in another sport I worked in they were live trackers on salary and transfer payments linked to the contracts.

I text a CEO I know the other day about this City situation and he thought Villa would have had no choice but to report to stop themselves being investigated so it looked like Acun has genuinely mixed up rules and regs with his more slack approach to money. He desperately needs a competent and experienced football ceo because this is embarrassing for him and could be a real issue in bringing players in for something that is so silly.

It can be useful but I just get wound up when I see crap being posted which is totally irrelevant to the product and clearly done by some guy who doesn't have any passion for the actual product and is just using chat gpt and a picture to fill his social media output.

For example I saw a rugby kit supplier the other day posting about their product with guff like 'high impact, ready for battle, only one winner'. What does that ****e even mean?

I really am a grumpy old fecker, I'm sorry l!!

40 pages to read, is there any official source or at least reliable source in that 40 pages?

Hilarious. Shame this bloke is a lying arse isn't it.
Honestly pal, think it's time you just hold your hands up and admit you'd sooner see city implode and go bust to suit your silly little agenda than keep digging like you are.

Hiding behind a silly little username on the Internet desperately hoping the club fail so you can look smug. I sincerely hope you don't have kids.

It was a joke. I suggest you lighten up.

As for the rest of your post, it’s obvious you’re in a grumpy mood today so I’ll just ignore the personal comments.

actually was just trying to save myself some time and thought lets see if AI can summarize it for me well of course it can but took me a while to figure out how to do it and the old saying goes "you dont get ouwt for nowt"
It likely with something like this i,e doing a summary of a conversation its less likely to "hallucinate" and get things wrong. The data it uses is what its directly fed in this case. Probaby a way better summary than I could make after listening or maybe anyone else on this forum. "just saying".

It's no real secret who I am is it. I've said enough over the last two years to make it obvious. You're another gimp who pops up with a little dig from behind a hidden name. No respect for that, keep hiding you sausage.

I actually don’t know who you are. Am I supposed to? Are you really important or something?
