Bert- #lcfc could part with £10m within the 14 and a half hours. Marc Antoine Fortune is on Sven's list as is David N'Gog. Don't believe reports he's rejected us because he hasn't yet. And that's not to say we've actually bid for him yet either! Also Sky think we are going to go back in for Nikica Jelavic
My problem with Jelavic is that although he has an excellent scoring record for Rangers - so did Kris Boyd amongst others... ...Let's be honest, my mum could probably get 20 goals a season for Rangers or Celtic with the quality that league has!
I dont want Jelavic I wouldnt mind David N'Gog, he is a decent striker but isnt good enough for Liverpool. N'Gog, Maynard and Kebe are the ones i want
I dont know enough about Jelavic to make an opinion...but seeing as 90% of Scottish Leagues players seem to find their ability in Eniglish League 2 i am dubious. I really dont want Ngog - every Liverpool match he has come on he has been truely awful. He has no awareness of where the goal is...simply doesnt have a strikers mentality if you ask me. I would avoid at all costs. Maynard - is leagues above Ngog. Seriously if the BC board do not accept 6.5M than they are the anti-ken bates. Ken sells everything with two legs and Stephen rejects everything. Maynard will not sign anohter BC contract because he would then have to give up his signing on bonus...so he will leave for nothing next year (im assuming that idiotic Stephen would reject all bids in January too). I have a feeling he will be known as Stephen Pantsdown after this debacle. Kebe goes without saying - one of the best wing players in the CCC - YES!
Maynard, Kebe and Townsend would make it a cracking day. It depends on what formation we're going to stick with. If we're sticking with what we have then leave Kebe and get Jalavic in too, but the price is massive. I would love Jelavic but not at 8m. Although thats what you pay for top talent.

That he reads the boards/twitter/foxestalk and gets rumours like every other fan does? I seriously doubt the club would be telling the player exactly who they are buying.
It'll be confirmed later this evening Until now nobody knows for sure what's going on, nearly everything I post on here is from unreliable twitter sources/rumours. Just wait until Bert says something and/or something appears of the OS
He might know Maynard Hayley Gallagher was telling us about Sean St. Ledger, David Nugent and Matt Derbyshire signing for us because Gally knew them
If Sven wants to play 4-3-3 he either needs 2 good attacking wingers (like Kebe and another) or 2 more strikers that wont stray out onto the wings, ones that are used to playing down the centre.
kebe doesnt have a great final ball, but probably the best on the market. Id definately get him as it gives us width, and a striker too!!
I'm half expecting some of the #lcfc players to offer a red herring or 2 re signings today on Twitter, beware He must be implying what Peltier just said might be true
