Just looked him up, picked up an injury recently, doubt it'll happen. Thought I'd share anyway. I thought he was slightly out of favour at the moment with Wolfsburg so didn't think it was a bad shout.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19405554 (Free Agents) Anyone else keen for: Owen, Heskey, Hargreaves and Vassell ...we can recreate Euro 2004! I know a certain club, which specialises in buying veteran internationals and is what some might say a retirement home, with 17 over-thirty players: QPR! TF you know you want to! just over a goal every two games in his career (literally one over) never heard of him before but looks good!
Darel Russell is set to move to Fratton Park after leaving Preston at the end of last season Never seems to settle does he? Shame, I liked him as a player for us as did Stoke fans in his first season with them.
Here we go, as predicted Sky Sports sources understand Aston Villa have ended their interest in Clint Dempsey as the Fulham attacker wants to join Liverpool.
Make way! More WCT on its way lads http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8035719/QPR-seal-Granero-deal
Why would you put this on our board? Anyway, no matter how much WCT you seem to sign your team seem like a bunch of strangers who have only just met. Oh hang on................ What if at the end of the season you get relegated? All that WCT you are buying is not going to make much difference is it? STOP STOP STOP STOP!!!! PLEASE DO NOT RUIN THIS THREAD. IGNORE HIM.
If I'm honest, i think Granero is a huge signing for QPR and he becomes the second WCT at the club (after Park) Joao Moutinho is on his way to Spurs
Apologies Kempo not trying to spoil the thread at all. Anyway this http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8037073/Mbia-set-for-QPR-medical seems to confrim we can all say goodbye to Barton once and for all
Clearly gone for the money. Only club willing to pay his huge wages. I appreciate his comment "from what I know QPR supporters are amongst the very best" he clearly has a sense of humour or he is not very well informed
It would be interesting to work out the number of languages everyone speaks in that dressing room, must be double figures at least in terms of nationality. You can have the worlds best players but unless they gel, you`re screwed! Remember how long it took the Chelsea and Man City projects to start to reap rewards?
Indeed 175 and ironically its City away for us tomorrow evening. If Swansea can put 5 past us, christ only knows what City can do On the plus side, AVB seems to be single handedly dismantling Spurs at a fair rate of knots. Good time to play them?
