Sadly that is no more than Newcastle trying to buy their way out of the division.........

I know, and sadly they are going to succeed. It's a cynical way to buy your ticket to the Premier League, where is the level playing field?
Look at Villa, buying Kodjia for £15 million! On top of paying over £10 million for McCormack and £10 million for James ****** Chester.

I don't get it???!!! The parachute money are bigger after last season and both clubs have sold players for big fees as well, but still for a club like Newcastle to spend +£70 million in the Championship is both vulgar and obscene imo.

It's worth the risk. Parachute money is increasingly nuts but gives clubs a 2-3 year window to get back up or be lost forever. The Premier League will eventually become a closed shop always with 20 out of 25 or so clubs. Still, it's heartening to see the likes of Huddersfield compete.

These are the type of signings I like, no guarantees but at least we're trying to make good deals for the future. Can't stand the Daryl Murphy £5m for a 33 year old ones.

He seem to have good anticipation and dribbling skills. Unpredictable and very diffucult for full backs, could provide good service for Polter/Sylla/Washington.

Norway - very true.

I admit that I am surprised that he is within our budget.
It could be a great signing "if".....

We have money, DavidMac says we are loaded but i am glad we are not wasting it on over the hill players wanting a last payday (Harry types).
I also know i have been vocal at the change and quality of our signings however i am glad we are not Wolves/Villa/Toon throwing millions after millions into panic buys.

Totally agree with this.
I can't recall ever wanting a club to fail so much. (either but especially Villa for some reason)
