As I have not been aware of the McCarthy signing. Can someone please confirm if the reported £6m fee is accurate? Sounds a bit expensive, you don't buy £6m back up goalkeepers. Green's place in jeopardy?

If he is in the UK for more than 90 days he'll be taxed. HMRC won't let that one go otherwise all footballers will be trying that one on...
Plus if he is playing in the UK, he will be deemed to be earning that money in the UK, wherever he is paid, the moment he brings it into the UK.
