It's funny that on the 8am SSN, the three featured managers in the clip were VG, Harry and Wenger.

Auspicious company indeed. They love Harry as much as he loves them!

Whichever way you view it, it is going to be a busy old day indeed.

Does that mean WE HAVE TO BUY someone just to keep Arry in the TV spotlight?

Lloydy: Hearing QPR are looking to bring in Jermain Defoe, Scott Parker and Mo Diame today.

Taken from the bbc news feed page. It's the first mention of Parker so far. He's like a bad smell that won't go away.

EDIT: Just in case anyone doesn't know about it, below in a link to the clubs own live feed for the day. Will probably be the first place any news will be announced.

Latest from Sky Sports:

No goalkeepers
No defenders unless Traore goes
Midfielders possible: Sandro, Diarra, Townsend, Kranjcar
Midfielders not likely: Lennon
Strikers: Defoe - back on again

Looking for 2 midfielders and a striker.

Have to say I think we need a RB as well.

I'd be happy with Diarra, one striker and a right back

Not Scott Parker... Please, surely we don't need him now with Fer, Barton, Mutch, Henry, Diarra... Maybe we do need someone else actually but surely a younger up and coming prospect to cover for injuries would be better

#QPR not after Lennon at the moment. He might be going to Stoke. Sandro looking much more likely.

What does that mean? Are we not after him or could we be after him later today?

Bit from HR on 'cheap' Diarra deal

01/09/2014
By David McIntyre

Harry Redknapp says Lassana Diarra is taking a huge pay cut in order to sign for QPR today.

Diarra, 29, played under Rangers boss Redknapp at Portsmouth and yesterday snubbed a late approach from Roma after agreeing a one-year deal at Loftus Road and completing a medical.

The midfielder, who has also played for Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea, has left Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow and is keen to move back to London.

His signing is one of a number of deals organised by Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes ahead of the transfer deadline.

Redknapp wants to make a number of signings today

And Redknapp said: “It was a cheap deal for the club – a great deal – and the chairman’s done a fantastic job.

“Diarra just wanted to come and play here and, without wanting to blow my own trumpet, I think he wanted to come back and play for me.

“He enjoyed his time with me at Portsmouth and I enjoyed my time with him so he really wanted to come here.

“There were other clubs in for him but he said to me ‘It’s not the money, I want to play here.’”

Diarra left Pompey to join Real in 2009. He subsequently moved to Russia, spending a year with Anzhi Makhachkala before Lokomotiv signed him in 2013.

Traore definitely staying which is good news IMO as long as he can get over his spat with HR.

Is this the 5th consecutive August window we have been linked to Defoe? Is that some kind of record? My bet is that he will go on loan to the Emirates.
