Having got back from Woodspring Park around 30 minutes ago to be honest it was a real farce, pitch inspections carried out from 10 am this morning when it was pis&ing down and the games was still on further pitch inspections at 12 noon, 1.30 and 2 pm and no further rain I'd have laid money on the game taking place . the pitch looked good and other than mud patch in the Donny keepers area was perfect. F6ck me I can rember evenings at Trumpton when players near the popular side were shin deep in mud, compared with that the surface at WSM was brilliant. Twat of ref called game of less that 20 minutes before kick off. His view as 80 % of the pitch playable the area he was concerned about was not. A load od B8llocks the FA cup is about underdogs being given the chance to turn over big boys on occasions, WSM players and management were up for it and didn't want to leave the pitch, Donny players and management felt the game could go ahead and I am certain the 60 to 700 Donny Fans would have welcomed actually getting the game underway and at least giving it ago. But this F6ck wit of ref wanted his moment in the spotlight. If the pitch wasn't playable at the final inspection he'd have known earlier on in the morning. It was areal surprise for all at the game. Still WSM still in the draw and it'd be great to see a few more Gasheads at re arrganed fixture. Saw and had the pi$s taken out of me by a good numbers of TEDS in attendance who saw me in me ROVERS Top. I can take the banter and hope for a few fellow Gasheads cheering on the Seagulls with me next chance to turn over Donny. Fair play to the Donny supporters and I fully understand their frustration at the incompetent ref.

full time. lost 1-0. commentator said it was the defence of tranmere who won the game for them and not our attack that lost the game for us. 1st half wasnt really pretty but we shaded it. 2nd half we were by far the better team and dominated but that could be due to tranmere down to 10 men. and personally i think we lack the striker with a killer touch as always. but commentators saying they couldnt fault our players and it was the tranmere defence that won the game.
