    Generally, this appears to be good news. A measured and thoughtful response to take us forward. Let's hope this Jan transfer window is equally measured and thoughtful! Another Thursday with no signings. Looks like Sky have banned QPR from getting anyone else in until 23:50 on 2.2.15.

    I agree that scaling back might be a good idea. QPR is not in the position to spend a lot of money, particularly if they end up going down and risk the fines associated with their FFP in the Championship.

    Without knowing the specifics of the plans, it seems the trend toward these outlandish training grounds is one that's just destined to be viewed in time as a colossal waste. Have you seen Man City's new training ground? It's positively ridiculous. Good training pitches, weight rooms and treatment facilities are not that complicated to develop. Nice is great, but something like 200M pounds that MC spent is absurd. Still, we're seeing smaller clubs look to do the same.

    I'd rather spend the money on players who'll perform after training on the pitch than some outlandish facility.
