Training ground progress

    It seems to have gone quiet about the training ground , anybody have any idea how it’s going , I thought it was supposed to have been started by now.

    the gun turrets have been installed and the radar dish is due in the next few weeks

    We are supplying Bristol Bears which is being done at Failand at the moment, but not seen any enquiries regarding ours yet.

    Not really, it may just mean that there is nothing I’ve got to approve on the request for a mixes.
    I only get involved to sign off anything that is not a BS standard designated mix below a certain strength now.

    That’s because Rod designed it to last long enough to last past the warranty date before crumbling into a pile of rubble, give it a few more years Sparky <laugh>

    I thought you told me when we were building it you were supplying the concrete, or were you just on the shovel at the time....<laugh>

    Same company, but I was based South West area then, so probably just winding you up. Caldicot Cider batched some of the concrete I think. (He said to say hi)

    One of my biggest shocks was when a groundworker dared me to have a go on a shovel. Fair play to them it’s too much like hard work for me.

    He did , he’s cleverly distancing himself now so he can’t be blamed when it collapses around your ears, we’re a clever lot us BCFC fans you know.<laugh>

    Well it's done wonders for the pitch, but have noticed there are one or two humps here and there.
