    As pointed out elsewhere the loan business was probably done to facilitate the Ramirez deal before the deadline.

    Don't know why he's surprised. Since this season has started there has been an almost malicious attempt at destabilising every last confident thought of the fans. Cortese has said in the past that there are operators out there working away, trying to undermine what He and Markus have started, and it appears that it hasn't changed. He may have been referring to other levels of influence, and I used to pooh-pooh his cautious words about people trying to destabilise the club, but now I'm not so sure he isn't right.

    It's why I've stayed clear of all 99% of the rubbish that has been to and fro-ing on the forum about this subject, loans, etc... It's all speculative twaddle. Anyone would think the people casting opinions are personally involved.

    As a side note, does anyone else find the Echo's [and other news site's] Premier League News videos annoying..? I've just paused it, then an advert started, which told me my video would start in 30 seconds [which I killed the sound on] and then I stopped the video as soon as it came back on. I then went back to the original article. If I want other Premier League news, I'll go and look for it. Why must it be foisted upon me..?
