The beauty of it is that however it's funded, the complex is wholly owned by CCFC and will enhance the balance sheet to a greater extent than just the cost of construction. The valuation will increase in the same way as the CCS and can only benefit the club in the future.

In the long run, the possession of such facilities will mean the club will have a greater attraction for potential players and future quality management post Warnock. Also possible future investors when VT decides he's had enough - and he surely will at some point - will find the club set up at all levels from schoolboy grass roots through to top end first team squad whatever division we happen to be in at the time.

More signs that VT, despite his early faux pas with the club colours etc and dubious early manager choices, has taken on board what it takes to push a club forward - and that's not just tossing money at it. It needs a plan, and the new "all under one roof" training complex is a very big part of that.
