Get him the originals and customise them with his nickname or dob or summin funny like the date you bonked his mum and made him maybe?
I call my kid brother Paddington or padd, paddy, paddwick, padaniah, pandeedy, and piddles, as he always used to chew the corners of books when he was a dribbler.
I got him some Adidas cloudfoams fir hos 16th and instead of Adidas it was "Padidas", done it on the online store, £30 on top of the kicks plus delivery. He was ****ing gassed about them though and still has em as a keepsake even tho he wore holes in em literally
