Hm. I'd keep quiet with that particular jibe, if I were you, Little Luke. At least until you've secured a top 4 finish that is.
They must be after someone with a seriously long term injury problem, far more than just a back injury if they are discussing it this early. Alternatively Wenger may be going for a masterstroke by signing someone who is already dead. It should make interesting reading.

Has he been linked with a move away? (****ing hope he has!). Been immense for Arsenal this season. Probably the best performing CB in the Prem.
Barcelona have been linked with a move for him a couple of times and I think he'd suit the Spanish league perfectly
Yeah he'd be a perfect fit for them, Vertonghen's also been linked and is also another I think would slot right in.
Hopefully they go for the better performer this season
