Agree with what you say, but it was a good pass by McKenna to set Fryatt up. What ever Nigel said to them at half time worked, as they finnished the 1st half the stronger IMO.
Loved the Bullard chants, even a couple of the coppers were laughing at them. Carney for me was MOM, he played well, i hope he can keep this form up all season.
Carnt wait for Tuesday now :D

Were these chants stick your money up your arse? That sort of thing? Or were they more original?

You can stick your Jimmy Bullard up your arse(to coming round the mountain), followed up with 'There's only one greedy bastard, one greedy baaasstaarrd etc'.........

one thing i was impressed with was the stewards...on arrival, was told to sit anywhere..and if we wanted to stand up all game, do them a favour and go to the back....lot better then the usual jobsworths..

Fryatts goal was ace. He looked like he was running through treacle though. Hopefully given his confidence a massive boost and gets back to his best form. If that happens he could easily get 20 for us this season.

The stewards were good, not one clown told us to sit down, they sorted the lads with flags, all in all, they were about as good as it gets(though they should let us hav a pint at half time).

I remember PR in the season we got promoted, the atmosphere was electric.

The played a lot of loud rockin type music before the game that really got the fans going.

None of the "This is the KC Stadium" shyte!

They did play the music very loud yesterday but a lot of it was crap!! Especially some pub band version involving ipswich town. Think it was Chelsea Dagger but can't remember! Awful!

Yea its not just the way we set up at home though imo, if i was playing for Hull City ild play crap if i had to kick a ball about the morgue and miserable booing folk who turn up at the KC. It was a great result though

I seem to remember at Everton a couple of years ago, they had this weird announcement that kept being repeated through the tannoy, something like "Commence operation Goodison." God knows what it meant.

Operation Goodison was funny, it was pretty much the highlight of day, as we were shocking in that game.

The half time supporters announcement on Saturday was just bizarre, it went on for bloody ages and just said we're a family club and we don't like bad language, or racism, or people with BO, or acid wash jeans, or funny haircuts, there was barely anyone left out. Maybe that's why they didn't make a sound for the entire second half. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

That was hilarious, 2-0 first PL season? Also i remember that day, us city fans singing you'll never walk alone, brilliant. One of those many awaydays were we didnt get the result, but we knew we had to make the most of being in the Premier League, and we always had a laugh.

Now you know how much the away fans are taking the mick at the KC when the fat bloke with the microphone is doing his stand introductions. Think it's as bad as Operation Goodison/ Anfield has been a success.

Lambrettaman - there has been a problem last season and even worse this pre- season with one young group of lads, much more noticeable at away games, being abusive and just downright unpleasant. It's not the sort of thing that we are used to or want so the club is going to great lengths now to stamp it out, I think that's what the announcement was about.

It was fairly obvious from what was said, that it was aimed at a specific bunch who'd been out of order, though it seemed a funny way to go about getting a message across to them, would it not be easier to just talk to them directly? (I'm assuming that plenty of people know who they are)

Yes everyone knows who they are but I think the idea is to have everyone in on it which seems sensible to me. I'm not sure how easy or even if it's possible to ban people from attending away games at this level.
