gillingham made a bright start a good goal from walker, this seemed to galvanize town as they go up a gear. with towns dominance they need to really to score a second , whalley going off with a possible ankle injury is a real blow let us hop it is not serious. only thing missing was towns second goal let us hope we dont get punished for this .you would imagine gillingham will come out with a diferent plan. last 35 minutes of the first half town looked a real threat going forward and dominated the game, with lots of creativity . second half was poor so many aimless balls behind the gillingham defence with no town playe anywhere near it. i dont know if this tacticle or just due to missing whalley. fossey showed his pace a great cut back ball but a town player did not get near it. very telling when goldburn broke free mage a pacy run run down the wing and had to check back as there was no one to play to.barnett when off not long after getting a knock so hope that was not as a resilt of an imjury.not suprisingly clark( did very well in the first half )ran out of steam after about 70 minutes and then get punished because we did not put this game away when we where on top.
