Ah yes my mistake. Being Belgian auditors makes my whole argument null and void because as we know, the Belgians hate Ipswich and will do anything to stop them because they are biased to Premier League clubs, and as Town haven't played in that division for so long they'd never heard of them so even more reason to fail them. They are also renowned for never ever updating those who are being audited - damn those pesky Belgians. If it weren't for them, the ones making the decision, you'd have definitely passed. And naturally, waiting to get something crucial to the result for free rather than paying for it and helping your cause definitely doesn't suggest doing it on the cheap. Reading Klug say how difficult it would be, it makes you wonder why you even bothered if he knew you were not able to meet some of the crucial criteria. Wasted fans money. Not very responsible if there was always a big chance it would fail. Anyway, must go. Can't hang around with you blind people - those burgers won't flip themselves you know...

I do believe a few nerves have been touched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Supers, you seem to have glossed over the point the even the assessors called us a cat1 club in all but name. How is that wasting the fans money and doing it on the cheap. But then that is your trademark when trying to know it all.

It's wasting their money because you are only cat 2, even though you were run like cat 1, why do you have difficulty with the facts? They are plain and simple!

Common sense, thats a bit rich coming from the club that can't even work out who they are playing.

But if its improved facilities and brought in extra staff it hasn't been wasted, not say for instance a pointless trip to italy to play the dolmio family IX in a friendly.

sometimes it's difficult to tell if you're just playing stupid or are actually stupid. I'm pretty sure it didn't cost my club more than £2m to go to italy for what was essentially a fitness drive. your club has been humiliated by your failure to secure cat1 status.

norwich have had a pretty embarrassing moment for sure, as indeed Leeds have also suffered the same fate in italy this summer, but it doesn't come close to this!

the extra staff and facilties are irrelevant as you cannot operate as category one, so these extras are completely useless... at least until you achieve that goal which I assume you will go for again for next summer. but you've still fallen a long way behind and will now have all these extras to pay for a whole year for no effect

Supers once again you are talking out your f**ing backside, off course we can operate as a cat1 in term of facilities and coaching, the only restriction we have is where we get the kids from and that a big club can poach them, but you seem to forget is if the kid is happy and getting what he wants from us then he will stay.

You really are thick sometimes, and the worrying thing is some people are gullible to fall for it.

So we have embarrassed ourselves for striving to better ourselves? And only failed on a technicality. <applause>

i will admit that some of that last piece made little sense to be fair <laugh>

    apologies.

but there is no question you've fallen behind the game by two years now and it was all so avoidable. my point about facilities was aimed at ones out of your jurisdiction and because of the 90 minute rule you are screwed on that front. it takes time to develop these centres and you can't even make a start until you know for sure you're 'in'.

now if you excuse me, i must get back to my bbq. those burgers won't flip themselves... <ok>

I can see what Guru is trying to say, that we are basically a cat 1 academy, minus the catchment area and which league the development side plays in. That for me is a big loss, testing our players against the best in the country.
Mick has to start using the academy boys more too to meet some of the criteria.

Thing is Mr. Plum, I can't deny the fact that I am plain, but my lifetime qualifications prove I'm not simple, however, JWM and Guru prove their simpleness each time they post a load of garbage and pretend it to be something it is not!
