Wimbledon final and a crate of Kopparberg for me. Then a Sunday roast at my mums. Doesn't get much better in the off-season.
Cheers Elrooj, I assume and hope this link will stay good for the whole tour. We have it live here in the uk on itv4 but this has too many ad breaks and too much analysis. This road time version (with the sound off) is many times better.
I saw highlights of the opening event, which looked like a rip off of Gladiator or Ben Hur. We'll have to see how Team Sky do. Saw Alberto Contador got a bad reception. Since you're into your cycling, you reckon he'll be done for taking drugs, elrooj?

Hard to say, mate. The enquiry result is out in Aug or Sept (can't recall which) and, if he's found guilty, he'll be stripped of last year's win and thus banned from this year. So any result this year will be forfeit. Watch out for Sammy Sanchez, as well as following Wiggy and Sky....
Sky team are 2nd - so far - on this stage...... Here's another useful link:- http://www.cyclingnews.com/
Love le tour, my guilty pleasure for three weeks every summer. The whole contador farce is a joke, he shouldn't be riding. Get so fed up of defending cycling but more crap always seems to turn up.
The East Anglian stage of the Tour of Britain passes quite near to me...finishes at Sandringham (10-12 miles away). Looking forward to that too, even though it's nowhere near the same level of race.
Yeah it went through Scarborough two or three years ago and definitely worth a watch, pretty good atmosphere. Tv coverage normally quite decent for tour of britain as well
Scan down the right-hand column and you come to the teams. Hushovd and Boasson are Norsk; a good few Danes; can't spot any Swedes. http://www.steephill.tv/tour-de-france/#preview
Well, that sucks Are the Norwegians any good? The only decent Swede I can find is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_Larsson Never really liked to watch stuff like Tour de France though. Not much action and takes to long
Results: Sky joint 2nd in Stage 2 - Team Time Trial Overall Standings after Stage 2: David Millar 2nd - on same time as leader Geraint Thomas (Sky) - 4th @ .04 secs Boasson Hagen (Sky) - 8th @ .04 secs Bradley Wiggins (Sky) - 12th @ 0.04 Mark Cavendish (HTC) - 18th @ 0.05 Ben Swift (Sky) - 24th @ 0.11
Dunno if this feed will stay up, but here's the link: http://www.fromsportcom.com/v-2/10/16/v-301618.html It's a day for the sprinters to finish....
