It's a chicken and the egg thing, the drug in the inhaler opens up your airway allowing you to take in bigger gulps of air, and exhaust fumes.
They said 4 mountain stages left before yesterday, so 3 plus a lumpy one is right. Pinot is G's biggest threat now I would say, so there will be some interesting tactics going on, I think G should be marking Pinot's moves, as he is still ahead and if JA is flagging now, and Pinot looks to be the strongest, so keep in front of him, and I think that will take care of JA also.
Big big day today for Ineos... they left their attack too late yesterday, today GT has to go out and win the tour...
Ineos may well have made a mess of this today.... big break of GC riders and they're not in it... Pinot's knee/ thigh has gone...
Controversial end to today... The day Inneos (Bennal) won the tour? Is this the tour of the stupid big sunglasses?
Alternatively he was incredibly selfish and uncommunicative and ****ed up his teammates' situations. No wonder they're letting him go at the end of the season.
Really this year's Tour has had a bit of everything, great watching, and to top it off the French look as if they are going to have to keep on waiting for their next winner. Having said that, I did feel a bit sorry for Pinot, he looked to be going well, but maybe he just pushed his body too much and it broke down. Well, it's Bernal's to lose now, can't see anyone getting near him unless he has an accident, illness or a mechanical.
The fact they've had to reduce this last stage due to the weather, pretty much wraps it up for him doesn't it?
I would say so, barring accident/illness/mechanical then I think it is more or less nailed on to win it.
