It would be a tough start whoever we play in the first ten matches, IMO this is a tough league, probably the strongest it's been since we been promoted.

Still it could be worse, we could be playing in front of one man and his dog against Accrington stanley, and of course however many fans Accrington bring down. ;)

Pity about both West ham games being on a Tuesday night.

Better make sure you get at least a point off Ipswich - you just know Chopra is going to score for them against you.

The reason for my plea is that I wouldn't like to see you bottom of the table at 5pm on Sat 13th August - that would be most distressing.

Having lost your manager and 18 players,I hope your teams problems are resolved, financially and performance wise because that also causes all of us grave concerns..

Hey it makes no difference who we play and when, we have to play them all twice and if we are serious about challenging for the pray offs we have these teams to contend with. Bring it on i say roll on ipswich!!!!!

I always see Ipswich as a team that struggle because thier is something very wrong all through the club. The players, Manager, fanbase, history, and spending power all point to them being a top side in the Championship but some how they always end up in the bottom half.

I will put us down for a win despite the fact their team looks like its improving.

In my mind it's all down to what Millen does during the transfer window. Yes, it's still the summer, but we've made one signing in an area where we didn't really need it, and I'm growing fearful that we're not going to plug any of the gaps that Keef himself pointed out months ago.

AUGUST 2011
Sat 6 IPSWICH TOWN H
Sat 13 Cardiff City A
Tue 16 Leicester City A
Sat 20 PORTSMOUTH H
Sat 27 Doncaster Rovers A

5-8 seems to be the zone, hardest game has to be Leics, I am currently looking at 4 points from this 5 games...but is still too early to set things in stone..

Sat 10 BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION H
Sat 17 Leeds United A
Sat 24 HULL CITY H
Tue 27 READING H

NEXT 4 SHOULD GIVE US 5 points

Sat 1 Blackpool A
Sat 15 Peterborough United H
Tue 18 Crystal Palace A
Sat 22 Birmingham City H
Sat 29 Barnsley A

and after 14 games should be on 15 points, again really to early to be "guessing" but players/managers etc will have influences especially come 1st August
