Just hope we get a progressive manager not a dinosaur.
Other than a 9, the new manager will have a reasonable supply of raw material.

Pure coincidence that I put up this thread this morning. Now events have overtaken it and we are all commenting on the "sack race" thread, I'd just like to say that the notion that Tan would find dropping into League One acceptable was never going to happen - from reports, it seems to have been his personal call.

No surprise Sparks. He and the board were criticised for hanging on to Harris and McCarthy past their use by dates.

Seems like he didn't want to get fooled again with this one. Rumours of SM losing some of the changing room maybe with his tinkering? I don't know.

I hope whoever comes in can hit the ground running to get everyone together.

A new bound to be unsettling for the team given SM signed most of the squad.

    By nature players are adaptable.

Whoever comes in, they will want to impress to give the best impression to gain a first team slot.

They will do what they need to do and if we improve they will share the glory.

While I can see the desire for Bellers, Nathan Jones would be my choice. Luton are doing better than us but Jones is a South Wales man (like Bellers) and a City fan to boot. We may have to pay Luton for him but with his experience it would be money well spent. You can see the Luton players play for him and he backs them.

Nathan Jones is a long ball manager. The squad Morison has put together just doesnt suit his style.

The board has really fecked up. All clueless. I reckon it will be Hudson until Xmas at least.

    What a mess.

Hudson will not be our manager versus Burnley.

If he is then the lunatics would have really taken over the asylum.

What worries me is that the decision is going to be made by the same individuals who appointed Neil Harris.

Money is the problem, its why we will do this on the cheap, but as always it is false economy.

What about bringing Warnock back? If there is one manager who knows how to handle a club in a relegation fight, it's him.

Could not agree more. And it's what baffles me about Vince. Surely a business person of his acumen can do the sums.
We're back to the old problem of suffering by not having a football person on the board
    Wakey, wakey Vince.

Investing in a decent manager is just as important as investing in players.
