According to one report I read today Sigurdsson 'got lucky' with the bounce. <doh> The guy who wrote that has obviously never played football.

The gallas piggy back moment :) was in the first 10 mins when Taylor got around him and ran towards the goal and Friedel saved the shot/cross with his feet. All the replay showed was that Gallas was grabbing his shirt and shoulders from the edge of the box all the way to the 6 yards box, it was the commentators who said it would have been a penalty if he had gone down but he stayed on his feet. Its one of those things..he doesnt get the penalty for staying on his feet but if he had gone down it would have been a 'soft' penalty. As for the Bale tackle...he has gone looking for that but then again they get given...just look at Dzeko's against Sunderland on Saturday.

Ekotto possible red card was when he went in on Routledge studs showing both feet off the ground, but ref's have been so inconsistent on this all season that its no wonder nothing was given...luckily he didnt touch him but could have been nasty if he did.

But you're right it was an enjoyable game, was nice to see the ball stay on the deck for long times.
