Agreed. I don't see any logic in that approach, it's now or never for Borini, maybe for his career not just if he moves here.
Bored with borini and a 14 million sounds far to much, I know they alonso apart were garbage against Norwich away last year and borinis attitude and endeavour stood out a mile for me, just saying Re Chadli, don't know a great deal about him, but 7 million reported paid, what bothers me is we don't put the option to buy price in and if he has a good season it grows 50% for a player failing at the owners club, ala borini! how they can make a profit on this player astounds me

It's not long ago that Sunderland supporters would've been delirious at the thought of a Belgian international, who went to the World Cup, signing for us. This will barely raise a smile with some people ........
Interesting, Gus said on SSN this morning he thought the Borini deal would happen, this could mean the Buckley deal is not happening or even that Wickham is going and Gus is going to use Borini as the lone striker like he did against city in the cup final. Still some twists and turns to go, I don't think this story means we are not signing Borini.
