I've given up on hating him for leaving us because I have moved on to Koeman and Everton....I think I must have a very small 'hate' section in my brain. Only one thing at a time
Another who has found the grass is less greener than they thought. Levy likes to be involved in all recruitment issues - Paul Mitchell possibly had underestimated how challenging that could be.
Apparently this isn't sudden...he gave them a lot of notice. Be interesting to see where he turns up...would think he is pretty employable.
I'd think this would be good business for us tbh, our owners don't get involved when transfers are concerned. Hes no Walsh, but he still has a great recruitment record.
I didn't like Poch when he was here. Very serious and not much really to warm to. I liked Adkins but Poch was certainly the better manager.
Exact opposite for me - I liked listening to Poch - thoughtful man - and there was absolutely a sense of fun underneath that. I'd like to have worked for/with him. Nigel, sorry to say, I just thought was a wally. Harmless, but a wally.
The current Mrs St Godders obviously has poor judgement as she is still the current, yet you aren't showing her the door...
An absolute fallacy. No one can multi-task without ****ing things up according to scientific research.
Yep - people can't multitask, they just switch their attention from one thing to another & back again very quickly.
We all multitask in a way. Our front brain is the one we are aware of, whilst the rest of the brain works quietly in the background. Have you ever forgotten a name or an incident and then 15 mins later it pops into your head unbidden....that's because your back brain was riffling through files whilst you concentrated on having a good scratch or switching TV channels. Women have more connections between the two halves of the cerebral cortex than men, so are less single minded...believed to reflect their historical roles: men hunting need to be single-minded and concentrate; women foraging, child minding, and remembering all the things men forget . Of course all these things are averages and don't reflect each person in particular. The main example I always give is that men remember you wanted a drink but always forget the crisps.
Women less single minded? That's like suggesting they can never make up their minds... *oh and you always say you wanted crisps but you never actually asked for them. We were supposed to just know *
Yes, I did...you just didn't listen. If you spent less time ogling the barmaid, you'd have remembered and whilst I'm at it............ Sorry, thought you were my ex for a minute.
Well, my soon-to-be-ex certainly made up her mind - sadly the bloody judge seems to have agreed with her and handed her most of the house and £23k (net after tax) from me for the rest of her life (which I REALLY hope will be short one). Appeal? Well, she has no appeal for me, but I'm considering my options (anyone know a good barrister willing to do pro-bono work?)
****, sorry to hear that Dave Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately given reasons for doing so) I don't know any barristers, but fingers crossed you can get something sorted out that feels more equitable.
