Pardew had to build 2-3 sides in total in 4 yrs? We kept selling everyone. He had to build those sides with players imposed on him with minimal input. Every manager at Newcastle in the last 13 yrs has not really had much input in transfers. The reason for that is pretty obvious. To be honest Pardew (nor any other manager at Newcastle including Rafa) truly built a side. Its never really down to one man at any club now. Its all about the synergy between manager, scouting department and DOF (if there is one).

That's just because I'm objective and can separate the man from the performance. I can see clearly he's our best performing manager under Ashley. I can also see he was a bigger **** than Joe Kinnear. I accept though because the like of myself, Welshie or jimileysbaldhead wouldn't conform to the masses opinions on here, people create their own narrative about what your opinions are. You only have to look at folk on here treat Bruce in comparison to Rafa (despite an almost identical performance a season apart), to understand why I don't really worry about this
