Watford have lost 13 of their past 14 away matches in the League Cup against top-flight opponents, conceding 40 goals

Shame we will lose Kabasele for one of our toughest games defending wise !

Can he miss Bournemouth instead ..

Funny old game having lead for so long before the crazy last 10 minutes but given the team line up we did well to take them all the way and with a bit more luck win !

" I would have loved a cup run!"

Kevin Keegan style slumped over the advertising hauding.

    FA Cup it is then?

Gracia unhappy at red card - what they said
Watford manager Javi Gracia said: "We played really well but there were some decisions that were hard to accept.

"What I saw was Dele Alli and Christian Kabasele fighting for the ball and they both went to the ground.

"The penalty is one thing but I cannot understand the red card. With every game we play I'm more proud of my players, they have performed very well."

Got there eventually, no thanks to Network Rail. Having spent a small fortune on a cab to Tring station, Mrs Fez got out of work early and drove me up to MK - I will be buying her a slap up meal tomorrow night for putting her evening on hold for me. Met some old friends in The Chequers in Fenny Stratford at just before 7pm (I was in Tring for 4:45:steam::steam::steam:) and we took our places about five minutes or so after kick-off.
It was going so well, but, having seen the replays, if that was even a penalty let alone a red card "dan ik een Nederlander ben". Atrocious decision.
Fortunately I had arranged a lift back with a mate from the village after, an MK STH, and tucked up in bed long before the witching hour.

As you know I am a construction professional and my dissertation was about the design of sports stadia. Shiny and new on the outside, it looks great, and Emirates like seating on the inside. However there are some enormous rivets sitting proud in the lower tier and far too few and too congested concessions. For a new stadium they've got a lot not quite right. Nowhere near as good as Arsenal, still the benchmark.
