I mean "You" collectively Spurcat. I remember he was always on taking the mick and the Spurs posters roasting him. There were so many posters with Spur in their names that I can't recall who did and didn't grill him. We'll probably see him turn up somewhere this weekend.
Same side as v United. Daws did himself no favours in the goal conceded Thursday. Furthest CB from the pass, so he could see the attacker, Caulkers position, the attackers run, and the passer of the ball. When the attacker started his run, Daws was slow to react, slow to chase...Captain Slow, the James May of our defence! So, the thought of Daws up against Agbonlohor is a bad one. Could do with a win to get back on track for the visit of those Chavlets after this poorly timed International break. Lets hope those involved return in one piece, I think in the past, its this Int. break that we've had bad luck with key player injuries . HolteBellend! Ah yes, him, he sloped off beeb quite a while before it shut. The heady days of the O'Neill era had gone, Barry, Milner, and Young were going/gone, and were well on the way to the McCleish era via Houllier...too much abuse there for even the staunchest of statto's!
I always had this thought that he was a Gooner and there was probably a Gooner forum where he posted his "conquests" to his Gooner mates. A thread titled "how I owned Spurs with six facts" or something like that. Google tells me he has an account here, and everywhere else on the net. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=HolteLegends
Not one post though Inda, can't be him is what I'm thinking, its a fairly popular name to choose for a Villa fan I'd say. Spurcat had the same issue here, someone else had already picked it.
Equal third I should have posted but that's an iffy expression. I must have looked incorrectly as I thought Everton were only 2 goals ahead. But 4-0 would do it. I'm hoping a draw this evening but it's a difficult one.
Rumours on twitter that Lloris will start, really hope this is true. Some of the people making the claim seem to have some sort of credence behind their claim, but obviously it's all speculation ATM. If Brad starts though, won't be upset, can see both sides of the picture, I just much prefer Hugo as our keeper.
Some interesting stats here http://www.byfarthegreatestteam.com...spur-vs-aston-villas-hard-working-el-ahmadi/? Sandro doing our fastest sprint in the Utd match surprised me, probably would surprise some others too. I'm assuming the stats are true, but have no reason to doubt them.
Bad call if true. Would be a shame for Brad to end his record like this, especially since he's done nothing wrong and Lloris looked a little shakey midweek too.
Totally agree with this. Not only wrong for Brad, who has been excellent this season so far, but Lloris didn't exactly look comfortable on Thursday night. No doubt he will be fine in due course, but for now Brad has my vote.
Well the Twitter rumours were true and I'm delighted. Lloris, Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, Dembele, Sandro, Lennon, Bale, Dempsey and Defoe I didn't think Lloris looked shaky against Pana, he did what I want a keeper to do and came for crosses, would prefer that all day long to Brad staying on his line. I think it's a great call by AVB, and commend him for it. Naturally, If Hugo ****s up, then it will become a bad call, but I back the call, and if it goes wrong then so be it, I'm in the wrong.
Yep, they did well, something of a twitter scoop there, because I don't think the articles on News Now were picking up on it. Really pleased with the news, but want to congratulate Brad on his fantastic run though, but to me it's the right decision. I like the team as a whole too, very attacking.
I have to ay that I'd blood Lloris asap so this time Ghoddle I'm with you. No problem earlier on the other thread ok.
