Not the best response, considering what you post is best used for fertiliser
True mate, i believe all refs are against us (including UEFA ones) but the colour of our shirt is a massive advantage.

Imagine how well City, Chelsea and Leicester would have done in the last few years with a simple change of kit <laugh>

It's a fact that we just don't get the soft penalties that follow other clubs around, and yet Son, Kane and Dele are portrayed as serial divers and we all recall the fact that once Bale acquired that reputation in his first spell with the club the opposition were allowed to virtually cut him in half without fear of retribution from the referee.and don't expect that to change now he is back.

I wonder what % of our penalties in the last few years have been against the goons as the Emirates is one ground where we have had a couple awarded!

Who can remember the AVB season when we went a whole season without being given a single penalty kick, this despite our players regularly being unceremoniously scythed down in the penalty area. The referees obviously had some kind of agenda against our players as they jumped on board the `Spurs players dive` narrative, and some of this still lingers to this day.

There is more chance of shieting in the Queen`s handbag than Pool or United going a whole season without a penalty kick.

Remember how the Nomads were tweeting about "Kane penalty bingo" last season, because they're convinced we keep getting soft pens against them?

That's a big part of the problem, because rival fans have a collective Mandela Effect and think we get penalties all the time, or they bring up members of our current team like Klinsmann or Ginola to say there's a reason we don't have grounds to complain, no doubt getting their excuses in early in case our annual penalty is awarded against them

I feel like we should add Balotelli's slogan to our kits:

It would look ridiculous, but it would match the decisions.

The often repeated argument is the teams who get awarded the penalties are the teams who spend more time in the opposition's box.
How did that go against Newcastle? How many touches were there in their box compared to ours? All our claims for stupid handball were turned down.

The teams that get penalties (not awarded or given) are the one's who the opposition panic most against and perform stupid tackles or handballs.

Years home away

2017/18 0 3

2018/19 1 3

2019/20 0 4

We came 3rd 2018, 4th in 2019 and 6th in 2020.

Interesting facts

1. We had more penalties at Anfield in the second half of our game there in January 2018 (two) than we've had at home in the past 60 premier league home games.

2. Bruno Fernandes has had as many penalties at our place in one match than we have had in our last 60 matches.

3. Swansea have the same number of home penalties as us in the past 3 years in the premier league...they were relegated 2 seasons ago!

4. Huddersfield received 4 penalties at home in that time...they were relegated a year ago.

5. Man Utd, Man City Arsenal, Newcastle, Leicester, Norwich and Chelsea have all been given 1 penalty at our place place in this time meaning we have conceded seven penalties at home while only getting 1.

6. Last season relegated watford recieved more penalties in 38 premier league games (home and away) than we have had in our last 118 league games.

7. Stoke have had 2 home premier league penalties in this time...they were relegated 2 years ago.

When we finally get a home penalty....

We'll miss <laugh>
8. Leicester have had 5 penalties in three games this season.More than we get in a whole season.

Because Vardy goes down easier than almost anybody in the game - but for some reason he is completely untouchable in the media everyone loves him and 'his story' and he is' clever around the box' - he has come up from non league you know he would never dive

Nobody ever dives in the lower leagues, they obviously learn it in the Premier League

Actually in 2015-16 the hack cognitive dissonance was a joy to behold
when Vardy got sent off for clocking up yellows in a game for diving
in that game against the Spanners.

Do we call him a cheat, and if so will his game bans mean that the
Lesta fairy tale narrative will now collapse as no Vardyball allows
those nasty Spurs to catch them ?? :D

I remember various "neutrals" howling that he got sent off due to bad a refereeing call

No, he got sent off because of a couple of good ones - for a change
