You can follow most of the players, most of what they tweet is run of the mill ****e, their choice of music or what they do during their time off. There are also a lot of ITK's, Journos etc giving the usual rumours etc. However, there is nothing to stop you sending a question to any of the players directly and somethimes they reply. Tonight a Norwegian Spurs fan asked Benny what were the chances of Ade signing and he replied that he didn't think that he would. The tweet was retweeted via one of the Spurs bloggers and you had to trace it back through the norwegian guys retweets to get back to bennys original answer. A bit like overhearing someone else's conversation really. I haven't been using twitter for long, but it is pretty addictive. Lord Sugar uses it to promote new products, Piers Morgan uses it to promote himself, both of them slag each other off, it can be used for many things. However, amongst all the ****e there are a few gems. Often good links to websites, funny pics etc.
Nothing much, by the sound of it. I don't have a Twatter account. If I ever did, it would say just one thing, "Mind your own ****ing business"
http://www.caughtoffside.com/2012/0...l-offer-for-tottenham-midfielder-luka-modric/ If true, I think we should take it - bird in the hand and all that. Oh and this - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/aug/07/football-tottenham-hotspur-leandro-damiao I still can't see it happening - right now I'd be amazed if signed another player before the season starts.
If true, doesn't look like we'll sell Modric then if it's taken nearly 2 months to get them to up their offer by £3mill... still another £5-10mill to go. Hope we get Damiao, that'd be a real coup.
Kaboul has admitted that he's talked to Lloris about joining, according to L'Equipe. Looks like it's going to happen, once things get moving.
Levy must be enjoying the olympics, cant think of any other reason why WE HAVENT BOUGHT ANY BLOODY PLAYERS!!!
