on a side note Bendtner has been fined 100,000 euros and banned for the next Dane match because he was promoting Paddy Power by lowering his shorts and displaying the logo on his boxers. which fools raise these kind of people? a multimillionaire already yet needs to show us all his underwear to make a few bob...id have had the twat put down..save the rest of us anything similar in the future.
why's he been banned for that? was there indecent exposure? The bloke gets so much stick for being "****", fairplay to him for doing that and giving out a "should have put a bet on me" gesture. pretty funny IMO!
Bentner was banned because each side and the tournament itself already have betting sponsorships and he broke the rules regarding them, I believe. He's actually had a good tournament, though. Held the ball up well, despite being extremely isolated, minimised the amount of acting like a twat that he's done and looked very dangerous from crosses. Wonder where he'll end up next season? In his head? Barcelona. In reality? Possibly, but only if Espanyol need a striker.
advertising.....i find footballers to be stupid...and i would have thought that making so much money would help them to overcome little things like criticism etc. this is a new breed of footballer..simple minded and chavved up to the max with tatoos and attitude and making stupid gestures as though they are revolutionaries...whilst those like Messi,Ronaldo,Zidane concentrate on becoming the best in the world...alot of others spend their time trying to scare the opposition by looking like they are warriors all tatooed up...****ers the lot of them.
that was who i thought of when i read it. Meireles looks like something from last of the mohicans. He looks like a complete berk
In other news, Niko has been removed from the squad list on the OS - he was still on there on Friday, well over a week after he'd signed for Dinamo Kyiv.
Boateng too...the list is endless of people who play less football and spend more time trying to look intimidating in other ways For every De Jong there is a classy player like Parker...great at his job and not a show off. this over tatooing really gets under my skin!
Corluka's rumoured to be joining Pavlyuchenko and his national team coach, Slaven Bilic, at Lokomotiv Moscow. Another player that I liked and will wish well at his new club, if/when it happens.
He's also linked to Barca...although it is Footy Latest reporting it. They must want to play Mascherano in midfield next season...
A lot of talk about £35m + a player bid being placed by Real Madrid. Gago or Granero most likely if it's that amount of cash too.
if a new manager is announced v soon, does anyone else think that our incoming transfer business will be taken care of early? we've already spoken about this and how we felt that this needed to happen this summer (before redknapp was sacked), so new players could settle in. However, isn't this now a necessity, as the manager and players will need as much time as possible to work together? If we're not taking care of our transfers early this summer, that is certainly a really poor decision. It's one thing scrapping on deadline day to add a player or two, but we're in need of a few this summer, as well as a manager and a full squad getting to know one another. I really hope the correct decision is made on this, or it could have a real impact on the start of our season. One which could make who ever our new manager is, look bad. When the reality is that it's a mistake that we'll have made again, and not learnt from. But try telling fans that, if something goes wrong in the first few games with a manager they weren't sure of anyway... such as AVB!
im just glad we wont be sniffing around David James and Crouch.....ohh and now everytime 'Joe Cole' and 'transfer' gets mentioned...i dont have to facepalm at Harry.
