Reports in croatia are saying niko is on the verge of signing for dinamo kiev with personal terms agreed.
Probably for the best, Niko is a quality player overall and he's wasted sat on our bench (if he even gets that far!)
Might start things moving. He's a good player and I'll wish him luck on his move, but there's no point in him being at Spurs if the manager doesn't rate him.
Urgh this Harry situation needs to be sorted ASAP. The unsettling effect could already be happening... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7796504/Van-der-Vaart-Harry-stay-key If Harry goes, I fancy a fair few will then think more about going too.
I think he does rate him, but it's more a case of as a team evolves, certain players get left behind, irrespective of what the manager thinks of them. We saw this with Palacios, and now we see it with Kranjcar. I agree with you, he is a good player and I also wish him well. Hopefully, we can get a decent fee for him.
Surely he could have played more when our midfield was playing like they need a rest? However I wish him success, class and we will regret his loss and lack of utilisation.
I think Harry does rate Niko, just not as highly as VdV, Bale, Mod etc. and I agree. Other posters also seem to think 'a few more games' would have kept him happy or happier, yet with no evidence of that. No, nothing other than regular 1st team football is all Niko wants, and this has been done to death that there's no room in a regular 1st 11 for him at Spurs.
yes i agree ultimately its all about being a regular starter...so i suppose this brings up the question..is there such a thing as strength in depth? because most want first team football..however 3 cups and the league should see us playing between 50-60 games a season.....i bet he could have had 20 of them with some sub appearences...you wont find quality that wants to sit on the bench...however some teams manage to keep most happy.
Changing the subject - does anyone know where we are at with Ade? That has seemed to slipped under the radar and is also key to who we bring in.
He played 18 Dona, 2 thirds of them in the league in amongst his injured periods, of which there were a few, some of them when he's been needed! so as a squad member I don't see how much more he would get, a far more accurate picture than the manager 'not rating him' imo.
according to the gossip column,SAF is now targetting Modric after signing Kawana,if he does sell him i don't want to see him go to man u or the chav's.
It's the usual gutter press bollocks, tots. Utd won't/can't pay what Levy would ask for Modric, and I don't believe the Chavs are interested any longer.
If they can't rustle up £17m for Kagawa, why do the tabloids think they can find the £40m+ for Modric? Didn't the lack of any move for Eden Hazard tip them off?
Absolutely no chance that will be accepted. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...verton-fight-Leighton-Baines-Napoli-lurk.html
On another note, I have a minor piece of gossip that may be of interest. I live up in Newcastle atm and a friend of a friend works at the airport and apparently Redknapp was seen landing there half an hour or so ago. Now I can't promise anything on the reliability of this but IF it's true who might we be going for? And who would you like to see in a Spurs shirt next season? Ba? Cisse? Krul? Cabaye? Who knows, as I said it may well be just be so much hot air, I'm no ITK by any means! Thoughts IF it is true?
