Ohh this is it I think things are happening...going to get a box of tissues and sit back and see wat happens in next few days...it's going to be a week of jizzing myself or tears.

As for Willian I haven't got a jiffy about him either however I don't trust Brazilians or Russians in the Pl so a Brazilian in the Russian league? Hmmm.

Lloris is excellent, one of the best shotstoppers in the game and will do brilliantly at Spurs.

Willian is overrated, hes honestly no better than Kalou (who I liked)

Hahaha dona!! It can't be tears like last year, surely? I remember the uproar.

Most were going mental over the lack of activity, including myself!

    Can't deal with that again!

I hope it is not tears Roo however I've become like one of them grumpy old gits in the 'Harry Enfield Show' thanks to our beloved Spurs.

Ukrainian league - which gave the Premier League such luminaries as Rebrov, Luzhny and Shevchenko...

I've already expressed my displeasure at some these names. Willian, 5yrs at Shaktar, even the regular Russian/Ukraine CL teams have not been in for him, not seen him enough so can't comment really, but it doesn't say much.

I watched a YT video of him - if I'm being positive then he looks pacy and has some skill on the ball.

If I'm being negative then 30s of a 4 minute video was slow-mo of him walking onto the pitch and another minute was shots of him getting tackled or missing shots.

Hard to tell from 1 vid though <laugh>

He's a huge risk but then Damiao, for all his plaudits, is a huge risk as well (if we were to part with the enormous amount of cash for him)

Shakhtar are the regular CL team from the Ukraine, Notso.
They've finished 1st or 2nd every year since 1996/97 and been involved in the CL every season at some stage since 98/99.
Not that that's particularly difficult, of course, as their only major rivals have been Kiev.
Dnipro (managed by Ramos) and Metalist seem to have some money now, but it's still not anything to write home about.

Fulham playing a pretty strong team tonight. The only big name missing is... Moussa Dembele

Shakthar are one of the biggest clubs in the whole of Eastern Europe, so asking why the regular Russian/Ukraine CL teams have not been in for him, is like asking why other La Liga sides aren't in for Cristian Tello, the Barcelona youngster for example.

They are in a joke league and play silly money for second rate players that none of the big clubs want, then these second rate players look half decent in the crap league and mugs like us come along and buy them!

    £15m. That's his buyout clause, I believe.
Would've expected Levy to try and throw in Jenas or Bentley. Maybe even Huddlestone.
    We'll see if/when it's official, I guess.

In other words, £6m + Bentley & Jenas and Hudds on loan for the season.

If we managed that deal, I think we'd all dogpile on top of Levy to thank him.

They've only recently been in it I thought, didn't they make their CL debut v the Goons, they were Uefa regulars like ourselves, we drew them once. I'm pretty sure I've seen Dynamo Kiev more regular than Shaktar over the last 5 mate, I also thought that league only has 1 slot? I can't be arsed to check...I'll let you! :)

I just want to say these continual anti-Jenas jibes make me sick and ashamed to be a Spurs fan.

The so-called 'supporters', who are nothing like supporters, should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

The sort of horrible atmosphere created by Spurs 'fans' over players like Armstrong, YP Lee, JJ and others makes me sick to the stomach abot supporting our club.

This horrible trait goes back to the 60s and jibes about Terry 'Vegetables'

I remember someone on here recently saying spurs fans were the best in the country, pure comedy.

I said we're not in the top 100, and the more I read on here and elsewhere, I would actually say we're not in the top 1000.

Apparetnly Jenas got booed when he played on Saturday, so glad I wasn't there, because I would heve been really upset and probably got in a major row with anyone booing him near me.

No way, does this despicable behaviour make me want to go the Lane ATM.

I think Defoe as a lone striker and a 41 year old keeper are liabilities at both end of the pitch, would I boo them, no way. Cos guess what, I support my club. I was going to write 'our club' then I realised I don't have an affinity with quite a few on here, and plenty elsewhere.
