I wish Soldado good luck and will miss him. Remaining a fan favorite while going through the mother of all cold streaks in front of goal speaks volumes about the man. We need someone who can play as a lone striker and back up Kane, and that’s all we should get unless we’re willing and able to get someone with quality we don’t have. I don’t think N’Jie can do that, and even if we can, a third striker is probably advisable. I think splashing money on Berahino isn’t a good idea. I have to say I reluctantly would approve selling Lamela. I think he had to hit that good chance he had against Real. I was afraid it would destroy his confidence and to judge from parts of two games I’m afraid it has. Add in a player who might be the pacy right sided attacker we need, and selling him looks like a good idea, on balance.
I wouldn't be surprised if MP is being pressured into playing Lamela because currently we can't get enough for him. Somehow squeezing something out of him would be the best scenario
Never liked Mills, he just has one of them faces. If true spurmy, he is a yes man (IMO) and maybe hired soley because hes from Argentina...... No wonder Pulis never stood a chance.
People'd be complaining that Ben Davies was getting preferential treatment if Pulis was our manager. Probably...
On a slight tangent to the thread, Pulis was guilty of the same thing as MP over the weekend. They looked good before half time and were matching Arsenal. Then he took off their best player, and then a bit later took off their next biggest threat. If we ignore all the facts like neither were fully match fit like we seem to be doing with Kane and his cramp and Mason and his fitness then why aren't we/the Palace fans all over Pulis for being an idiot?
FFS. Who does Pulis manage? ****, West Brom We all know Pardew is a total plank, that is damning to my argument SD!
Ok, here is my new argument...... Could be worse, we could have Pardew. Pretty sure that will unite the Spurs not606 board
One of Levy's internal mails was issued today reminding all staff of the need for confidentiality on all matters concerning the club. This usually happens when something 'big' is about to happen.
does rather hole it below the waterline. yep, that'll rally the troops. Sorry took so long to reply, been laughing so much getting funny looks from the office!
I dunno what i'd do if that happened. One of our best, plus only striker. Its such a Spurs thing to do though. Let's be honest, its more likely than us signing someone worthy of keeping it confidential
Clinton N’Jie gives Arsenal a kick to start his Spurs career. "I never spoke to Arsenal representatives on the phone--they simply contacted my agent. My choice was made. I was determined to join Tottenham. "Here I will be working under Mauricio Pochettino, a manager who plays youngsters and allows them to progress." Let’s hope N’Jie continues not to put a foot wrong. ENIC and Levy like money too much to do that. Their plan is to build a new stadium, fill it, and sell the club for a big profit. Turning Spurs back into a feeder for other PL clubs, selling your talisman and sending your team down the table is no way to fill a 60,000 seat stadium. Players will leave, but not to PL clubs.
Makes sense and I hope you're right. I've been supporting spurs too long clearly and it's made me paranoid
I share the paranoia. In this case, though, luckily, ENIC’s desire to make money looks as certain as the sun coming up tomorrow.
